Game apps privacy policy

Last updated:

This policy covers our free game apps for iPhone and Android: Roundabout Simulator 3D: UK and Parking Simulator 3D: UK. It explains what data the apps and our advertising partner handle, and the choices you have.

Who we are

IOVA LTD makes and publishes the apps and is the controller for the data described here. For privacy questions or requests, email info@iova.co.uk.

No account, nothing sent to us

The apps have no sign-in and no account. Your levels, stars and settings are stored only on your device and are removed when you delete the app. The games run offline; we do not receive your progress, your location or anything you do in the game.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The apps are free and show ads from Google AdMob: a full-screen ad between some levels, and optional rewarded ads you choose to watch to unlock the next level. To show and measure ads, Google may collect:

  • Device identifiers: the advertising identifier (IDFA on iPhone, Advertising ID on Android), only where you allow it.
  • Approximate location: worked out from your IP address, not GPS.
  • Ad and usage data: which ads were shown and tapped, and basic app interaction.
  • Diagnostics: crash and performance data from the ad software.

Google processes this data under its own policies: see how Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Your choices

  • Consent: in the UK, the EEA and Switzerland the app asks for your consent to personalised ads on first launch (Google's consent form). You can change it at any time from Privacy and ad choices on the app's home screen.
  • Tracking on iPhone: the app asks for permission before using the advertising identifier. You can change it in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking.
  • Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Settings, Privacy, Ads.

If you say no, you still get ads, but they are not personalised.

Children

The apps are made for learner and new drivers and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data, and you can object to processing. Because we hold no data about you from the apps, requests about ad data are best made to Google, but we will help: email info@iova.co.uk. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
